Last season, Game of Thrones showcased lots of blood at the Red Wedding, backstabbing and, of course, some incredible acting from the cast. However, Game of Thrones’ own Jon Snow (Kit Harington) declared that if viewers loved season three of the HBO mythical drama… then season four is about to top it all.

“I’ve just finished reading [the season four scripts] and I genuinely think it’s my favorite one so far,” Harington said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times while he was in San Diego for Comic-Con. “That sounds like I’m pulling your leg. I’m not. I’m not doing the actor thing of saying ‘each season is brilliant’ because I have to. I think it’s a really powerful season.”

But trouble may be coming for his relationship with Rose Leslie’s character, Ygritte, as he clashed with her wildlings.

“I think she is going to be after vengeance,” Harington teased in an interview with Digital Spy. “Jon doesn’t always make the smartest decisions. He had to make that decision and… you’d question him if he didn’t end up getting with her, because you can see his appeal to her.”

Meanwhile, Rose Leslie stated that her character will not take this situation lightly and said that she will be struggling with her emotions.

“Certainly at the end of season three, we saw her distraught and that was just heartbreaking because she couldn’t believe that the man she fell in love with and who she believed loved her back would betray her and run off like that,Leslie said in an interview with Digital Spy.

However, Leslie predicts that fans are going to see Ygritte’s new attitude. “With season four, I think we’re going to see a tougher, kind of grueling side to her.”

Game of Thrones’ fourth season will air on HBO next summer.
