Following today’s shock announcement that TV phenomenon Glee is being renewed for season five and six, the fate of reality competition The Glee Project is now entering negotiation talks. The spin-off, which serves as an audition to feature on the Fox hit, aired on Oxygen, and has brought Glee stars including Blake Jenner, Alex Newell and Samuel Larsen. Now that Glee’s renewal has finally been confirmed for the next two seasons, the likelihood of The Glee Project being picked up for a third season seems to have increased, although is still not completely certain. Talks are reportedly set to begin between the network and the producers as early as next week.
