Glee’s Lea Michele to Release Debut Book “Brunette Ambition”!

It seems like all Glee cast members have writing in their sights! Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, and Jenna Ushkowitz have all released books within the past two years, and now Lea Michele is following suit with Brunette Ambition.

Roll your eyes all you want at another Glee cast member taking on writing, but I for one could not be more excited – after all, it’s Lea Michele. Don’t we all want to get into Rachel Berry’s head?

The New York Times reports that Brunette Ambition is planned to be released next spring, and that it will be “part me memoir, part how-to and part style-guide.” The times also mentions that the novels news release says that they book will offer Michele’s behind-the-scenes perspective.

Michele, who has starred on Broadway in shows like Fiddler on the Roof, and Spring Awakening, said in a statement “There wasn’t a guidebook when I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and know, to get where I am today. But I believe I can write one of sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm, and hard work to make your dreams come true,” reports The New York Times.

With a debut novel and album coming out, Michele is a busy girl. This means it will be a good year for all those Lea fans out there like myself who enjoy seeing her achieve such accomplishments.
