Big Brother Canada is back north of the border for its eighth season and it is going to be a SUPERSIZED season. Global announced the cast for season 8, which will be the longest ever at 12 weeks.
Fans will get the chance to make their voice heard right from the get-go. Starting today, they can vote to save their favorite houseguest from the first eviction of the season. The houseguest with the fewest votes will be in danger of being the first to go home.
So, let’s meet the 16 brand new houseguests:
Angie: 33-year-old Communications Officer. Coming from a family with over 70 people, she’ll have no trouble living in the Big Brother Canada house.
Brooke: She thinks she’ll be underestimated by her fellow houseguests. The 26-year-old Social Support Worker says she is perfect for the game because she knows how to thrive under pressure.
Carol: 44-year-old disability caregiver. She said she has no problem backstabbing the other houseguests but will stay loyal to her ride-or-die.
Christopher “Chris”: Chris is a Brain Transformation Specialist, who believes he has the smarts and the looks to win the game at 28-years-old.
Hira: He’s making history as the first Canadian Sikh, he’s planning to play a very honest game.
Jamar: A Warehouse Worker that plans on being a comp beast.
John: This journalist plans to downplay his intelligence by outsmarting the houseguests.
Kyle: A 31-year-old National Powerlifting Champion, who has a sensitive side that may affect his game.
Madeline: A Substitute Teacher from Toronto, who will be using her competitive mentality to win over the houseguests.
Michael: The 25-year-old military infantryman is planning to use his athleticism, intellect, and charm to take down the house.
Minh-Ly: A Flight Attendant who isn’t afraid of taking risks.
Nico: A Big Brother superfan who wants to lay low and plans on staying out of the spotlight at the beginning of the game.
Rianne: 29-year-old OR Nurse who has no issues being a social butterfly in the house.
Sheldon: This professional wrestler plans to win #BBCAN8 by using his skills of physical, social, and mental strength.
Susanne: The 24-year-old plans to use social skills at the start and then start winning competitions to balance that out.
Vanessa: Last but least is a lobster fisherman who says the house will be underestimating her mastermind abilities.
Big Brother Canada begins March 4 at 8 pm ET on Global.
