Get ready Los Angeles and San Francisco, Google is coming for you! Apparently the search engine giant is preparing to open retail stores soon, and these two California cities will be the ones to get them first. In preparation for the opening, BuzzFeed, is reporting that the company has already began hiring retail workers in order to properly train them in all things Google.
The store will carry popular Google items such as Android and Chromebook products. But perhaps, one of the most sought after gadgets by techies everywhere will be Glass. What is Glass, you ask? First off, if you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, you’re probably unaware of this technological advance made by the magnificent brains at Google. Glass is a wearable headset, just like glasses, that allows you to do multiple functions, all hands-free. It answers questions as well as obeys commands. With Glass you can take pictures, record video, call friends, and even translate to other languages.
The company has been mum about their plans so far, keeping everything under wraps. Although initial plans are to open stores only in L.A. and San Francisco, it’s very likely that other major cities will follow.
What do you think readers, is a Google retail store something that appeals to you?
