Hannibal’s Pulled Episode To Hit the Web In A Series!

NULL

Jamie Harsip

Staff Writer

As we previously reported, episode 4 of NBC’s Hannibal, “Ceuf”, has been pulled in the wake of the Newtown shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary. An abridged version of the scrapped episode will be made available in pieces on NBC.com, in the form of a web series. The episode was about missing children having been abducted and then returned to their old families after being brainwashed to kill them. It appears that this storyline has been cast off entirely, as the web series’ focus is on Hannibal’s relationship with Abigail. According to series creator Bryan Fuller, this relationship is crucial to the rest of the season, and the abridged version of the episode, at the very least, is essential to getting the full story.  The full episode will, however, air as scheduled outside of the United States.

Watch the video below for part 1 of the web series, with an introduction by Fuller, and tune in for episode 5 of Hannibal, “Coquilles”, tomorrow night at 10pm/EST.
