The latest and final trailer for the sci-fi film Ender’s Game has been released, and it’s action packed!
Ender’s Game is based off of the best-selling novel of the same name written by Orson Scott Card. The film, directed by Gavin Hood, tells the story of Ender, a uniquely brilliant boy recruited into a special military team. He is then trained to lead the team into a war against an alien race known as the Formics.
The film stars several Academy Award nominees including Harrison Ford as Colonel Graff, Viola Davis as Major Anderson and Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham. 16-year-old Asa Butterfield, who starred in the Academy Award nominated film Hugo, plays the young leader, Ender Wiggin. Young actresses and Academy Award nominees, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin, also star in the upcoming sci-fli flick.
The trailer further introduces Ender (Butterfield) and his development into a young leader. In the opening voice-over of the trailer, Colonel Graff (Ford) definitely adds a bit of pressure to Ender, claiming that he is the hero the world needs – “You will be the one to save mankind”. From the looks of it, although a bit hesitant, Ender seems like he becomes ready to step in and win the war.

Ender’s Game premieres in the UK this fall on October 25 before hitting theaters in the United States on November 1st.
