ABC aired a special to honor 60 years of Disney and during that special, revealed plans for an awesome upcoming project. Disney is bringing us a Star Wars theme park and they brought out Harrison Ford and BB-8 to tease the plans. Take a moment and let this idea soak in, a Star Wars theme park.
Ford came on stage to cheers and applause before he spoke about how wonderful Star Wars is and how 'blessed' he was for being able to be apart of it. He then teased the plans for the new theme park which will be in both California and Florida before showing a video with some shots of what guests can expect.
Guests will be able to step aboard the Millennium Falcon and have a virtual battle in it. They could have offered just that and we'd be set and ready to hand over our money but there is more. They teased that we will be able to interact with droids and go to different Star Wars locales like the famous cantina from A New Hope.
This is very exciting news and many fans will flock to DisneyLand and DisneyWorld when the exhibit opens. There is no set date yet so we can all just take a seat back and keep waiting for Episode VIII, which is challenging enough after the amazing Force Awakens.
Take a look at the video below which is not the best quality but it will still evoke all the feels. Then sound off in the comments about what you are looking most forward to and what you think. We are excited about the Falcon and we think Harrison Ford should always be aboard ready to help us battle the First Order. May the Force be with you as you experience the best teaser since The Force Awakens teaser trailer.
