HBO’s critically acclaimed and oft-buzzed about series “Girls” and “Enlightened” are in time slots that pit them against Super Bowl Sunday on February 3rd. But don’t worry: if you happen to be a fan of either (or both) of these shows and also desperately want to watch The Ravens and 49ers take on one another during the big game, HBO has found a way to accommodate.
The network has chosen to make the new episodes of both “Girls” and “Enlightened” available for viewing On Demand and through HBO Go early, providing viewers who are forced to choose between football and their favorite HBO shows with an easy solution. Both “Girls” and “Enlightened” will be airing on a special night – Saturday, February 2nd – and will also premiere in their regular time-slots on Super Bowl Sunday.
Sunday, February 10th will mark the return of regularly scheduled programming for HBO.
