Justin Bieber has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. So, it’s no surprise that he would want to work with one of the most legendary musician ever, right?
In search of new duets, the Biebs went up to Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and offered him the chance to perform a duet. Paul turned him down almost as soon as the offer was presented to him.
According to the Globe, “Paul feared it would tarnish his stellar reputation. He turned Justin down flat!”Now, everybody knows that doing a duet with the teen pop sensation is a one-way ticket to the top.
Popularity is one thing that Paul McCartney definitely does not need. He is a musical legend, a musical great and a duet with someone like Bieber would destroy his reputation. And a man like Paul McCartney would never sell out to Bieber.
Personally, I think Paul did the right thing. He is happy living out the rest of his life on top of the musical world. Bieber doesn’t deserve his artistic talents because he is still too immature (drop-crotch pants, anybody?) for it.
What do you think? Was this a little harsh or was Paul right in deciding to nix it?
