Holliday Grainger joins Lily James and Cate Blanchett to star in the upcoming live-action version of Cinderella.
The film will be directed by Kenneth Branagh (Thor, Hamlet) and will star Downton Abbey’s Lily James as the princess. Grainger will play the stepsister with Blanchett as the wicked stepmother.
Game of Thrones‘ Richard Madden is set to play the prince.
Period love stories are nothing new for The Borgias’ actor who has appeared in Cary Fukunaga’s Jane Eyre, Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina and Mike Newell’s Great Expectations.
It is expected for the movie to be in 3D.
