Seth Gordon got a global hit out of Horrible Bosses by pulling in $209 million, clearly making the film a huge success! Sadly, Seth Gordon doesn’t plan to return to direct the sequel for New Line.
Many sources have said that it’s a matter of scheduling conflicts behind Seth Gordon’s inability to direct the film.
The studio still plans to move forward with the film and commence shooting in the fall, and they are actively looking for a replacement. Gordon is very busy acting as executive producer for the new series, The Goldberg’s.
Gordon also had another hit this year with the Melissa McCarthy film Identity Thief. In March, Gordon made a deal to direct Horrible Bosses stars Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis in One Night on the Hudson.
