The Paperman took home the Academy Award for best animated short last night, excited for their win producer Kristina Reed sent out a few paper airplanes reminiscent of the ones that are sent out in the film. Seated in the mezzanine, the planes landed nowhere near the stage but simply dropped straight from the balcony.
The audience took no noticed but security sure did. Reed was kicked out of the Dolby Theater. After a five to ten minute period protesting she was able to return to her seat to enjoy the rest of the show. Do you think security did the right thing? Or was the situation blown completely out of proportion? I’m going to have to go with the latter.
