On Tuesday, Cooper Hefner (Hugh Hefner’s son) and Scarlett Byrne announced that they are expecting their first child. Cooper made the announcement on Instagram with a photo of Scarlett sitting in a field showing off her baby bump. The post also included a cute video of the two of them walking hand in hand down the beach. 

The caption reads: “Scarlett and I have been blessed with wonderful news we are ecstatic to share. This summer we will be welcoming a new member to the family. The two of us could not be happier as we wait for the arrival of our little one.”

In her own post, with the same image and another photo of her and Cooper, Scarlett adds, “The two of us could not be happier as we wait for the arrival of our little one.‬”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Scarlett and Cooper officially married in November 2019 at a simple courthouse ceremony in California. The pair got engaged in August 2015. In November, Scarlett shared a photo of her in a simple white dress and Cooper in a navy blue suit on Instagram and wrote: “I am proud to stand by your side, as your partner, your friend, and your wife. I cannot wait to continue building a life together. My heart is so full and I am so grateful for our love.”

Scarlett is an English actress known for her role as Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2. She also had television roles as Nora Hildegard in The Vampire Diaries, Lexi in Falling Skies, and Bronwyn in Marvel’s Runaways. 

Cooper is an American writer and businessman. He was previously Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Enterprises (his father Hugh Hefner’s company). He was also the founder and CEO of the startup company HOP (Hefner Operations & Productions), a pop-up ‘80s themed arcade.
