Hugh Jackman is coming off a huge win with his final Wolverine film which came out last spring. Logan was not only a success with fans but the critics loved it too. Jackman is back with The Greatest Showman doing one of the things we love best, singing! The film will be in theaters December 25th and based on the trailer, it is sure to be a success. The film revolves around the story of P.T. Barnum of the Barnum and Bailey Circus set in a musical format. No wonder, Hugh Jackman was their man of choice. Greatest Showman is directed by Michael Gracey, his directorial debut, and will also star Zac Efron, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Michelle Williams. The trailer starts with a dark tone which is appropriate since the beginning also shows a dark side to Barnum’s story but then as things begin looking up, the trailer brightens accordingly. The movie takes the story and turns it into a musical and some of the songs come from the same team that brought us the soundtrack to La La Land which is very exciting news! We are looking forward to seeing Jackman in a brighter tale after Logan ripped our hearts out earlier this year and we love seeing him in a musical since he is so talented. Who better to sell the original concept of show business then Hugh Jackman?
