If you were thinking about buying your advanced tickets for Iron Man 3, you might want to take a few minutes and read this article. Sales of advanced tickets to Iron Man have been stopped. I know, it sucks. But, there’s a logical reason behind it. Even if it may not seem to be fair, it’s not something that is within our realm of control.
Here’s the problem: Regal Entertainment & AMC Entertainment are having a disagreement with Disney. See, Disney wants a REALLY big piece of the revenue that these theaters would be receiving for their advance ticket sales. Since the theater companies mentioned are not okay with this, all advance ticket sales have stopped. At this point, the theaters and Disney aren’t commenting on the dispute in question. However, I can tell you from my own experience, that I went to purchase my tickets just to test this theory and was told that I was not able to because of the dispute.
Cinemark USA, the company that owns all Century Theaters has also stopped selling tickets as well. Until this this settled, we are all going to have to wait until May 3rd to buy tickets. Studio Briefing.com has confirmed all of this information. We here at Popwrapped, will keep you informed as best we can when we receive any updates in regards to the dispute.
