O-M-G!!! What a crazy last three hours of my life. I do not know where to start, but here’s a recap.
Claire got to meet Juan Pablo’s family and have her final date. When meeting with his family, it was obvious that they had a physical attraction to her, but something was just missing. Then there was something that JP said to Claire during a helicopter ride. What was exactly said we will never know but it was something sexual that obviously ticked her off enough to get upset. So much so, that she continued to be upset once JP decided to ax her at the final rose ceremony. Ouch! Claire was definately hurt, and rightfully so. JP ended that encounter with “glad I didn’t pick her”. Double ouch!!!!!
Obviously this leave Nikki. Juan Pablo and Nikki had a great meet the family date and a great one on one date until the end of the evening. Nikki ended up giving JP a picture of them kissing with a heartfelt card; stuff about how much she loved him and couldn’t wait for the future. He said she loved him out loud and he didn’t say anything back. He left for the the evening and said nothing but goodbye.
Juan Pablo gives Nikki the final rose because he’s 100% certain that he doesn’t want to get rid of her but not 100% certain of getting married.
Blow-by-blow, this season has been a first for The Bachelor. During this season JP has not had it easy, and he obviously hasn’t been completely open to this process. During After The Final Rose, that was even more clear with JP. He didn’t want to share anything. It was so hard to hear that Nikki loves him but he can’t reciprocate those feelings.
Good news of the evening? Andi Is our next Bachelorette! There was more heart and soul in Andi’s last ten minutes on the show then there was in the entire 50 minutes before she came on.
