Is Loki open to causing some more trouble in New York for the new agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Imagine the possibilities! Avengers star and fan favorite Tom Hiddleston has said that he would be open to the possibility of appearing in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as his well-loved villain, Loki.
The classically trained actor said that he would be up for reprising his role as Loki in the TV spinoff depending on the script and story, Digital Spy reports.
Hiddleston shared the news at the TCAs held this week in Los Angeles. “It would be something that would depend upon script and story but yeah, of course,” he said when asked whether he would make an appearance on the show.
"I’ve spoken to [Joss] about it. I saw him down in San Diego. I hear it’s good fun," said the actor.
Hiddleston recently confirmed what Whedon shared a month ago that he will not feature as Loki in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans will get to see him revisit his role as the God of Mischief in Thor: The Dark World.
Avengers cast members and other fan favorites Cobie Smulders and Clark Gregg will reprise their roles for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere on ABC on September 24th.
Fans can catch Hiddleston on PBS starting in September when his miniseries, The Hollow Crown, makes its US debut and later on in November, when Thor: The Dark World hits the cineplex.
