He was the lead singer and heart-throb of Scottish band, Rewind and became an overnight web sensation with his Sam Smith cover, now UK singer/songwriter, Jack Robertson has been chosen as the global voice of the United Nation’s International Youth Day 2017 with his new single, "Enough", which will be released on August 11th.

Conveying an inspirational message of "we’ve had enough" to support this year’s theme of Youth Building Peace, Jack represents the voice of the world’s youth who simply want a world of peace for their generation.  Bringing his message to life for the planet, Jack Robertson will be delivering a live global webcast on International Youth Day, a free, global digital gig for everyone to share the message of peace.

"Enough" is a love song to the world. Depicting bridges burned, inflicted pain and promises broken, it’s a metaphor of love on a war-torn world; a desperate plea that enough is enough and it’s time to let go of what’s killing us.  A delicious slice of catchy pop whipping and weaving its way around the fabric of Jack’s rich and compelling vocals,"Enough" was written to grab instant attention, with an underlying message to the world for those who have ears to listen.

Jack Robertson is an artist on the rise

At  22 years old, Jack Robertson is the singing sensation of Scotland. Well known by just about all north of the border, Jack has built a loyal fan base that’s rapidly growing. Listeners to Forth 1 will know him well for his support for charities such as Cash For Kids and the Kilt Walk. By the age of just 12, Jack was performing at the Forth 1 Awards where he shared the stage with Jason Donavan, Sharleen Spiteri, James Blunt, Alisha Dixon and The Stereophonics. A year later Jack won Festival4Stars and was hand-picked by Robin Gibb to sing at the BeeGees 50th Anniversary gig alongside Lulu, Bill Wyman and Beverly Knight.  Jack’s soaring vocals and cutting edge sound have drawn favourable comparisons with Sam Smith and his cover of Sam Smith’s "Writing on The Wall" has received over 100k YouTube views within just a few hours, leading to an appearance on STV.

Now Jack steps onto the world stage as the global voice of youth for International Youth Day 2017.  Join Jack and raise your hands for peace because enough is enough!
