Spoiler Alert! How I Met Your Mother fans should read this at their own discretion.Actress Jennifer Morrison has expressed the one regret she has as a result of doing her time in the cast of HIMYM.  Morrison played Zoe Pierson, a love interest of Ted Mosby’s (Josh Radnor) during season six.  So what’s her big regret?

“I kind of was bummed that I wasn’t the mother on How I Met Your Mother!” Morrison explained to Parade. “I’ve always loved that show. I was a fan from the beginning, so I was just excited to be a part of it and excited that I got to have such a long arc.”

Despite not being the mother, Morrison still expressed her love for the cast and crew of the show.

“It’s such a wonderful work environment,” she said. “It was by far my favorite thing I’ve worked on in television in terms of the group of people and the crew and the hours.”

“I would have loved to have been the mother,” she continued in the interview, “but I kind of knew going into it that I didn’t fit all the little pieces that they had set up. I didn’t have the yellow umbrella and all that stuff, so I knew I wasn’t the mom.”

The good news is Morrison is totally fine with the choice they went with for the titular character.
