The Hollywood Reporter reports that Shameless actor Jeremy Allen White will be going back to the 1970’s in the upcoming movie,Glimmer. This will be White’s biggest movie role to date.
In other words, it’s time to rejoice that we will not have to wait until next year for White to reprise his role of Lip on Shameless, to see him on our screens.
The movie, created by Carter Blanchard and Josh Shwartz, tells the story of a group of teenagers who embark on a camping trip to investigate the case of numerous people gone missing. On their journey, they come across a portal that takes them back in time and ultimately keeps them trapped in the 1970’s.
The 22-year-old, who also starred in Movie 43, is set to play the lead role, who has an emotional connection to the journey due to the disappearance of his brother.
Glimmer will be directed by Ringan Ledwidge, and produced by Mark Sourian and Adam Kolbrenner .
Production of the film will begin this summer in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
