Popular YouTube vlogger and Amazing Race contestant Joey Graceffa has started up a Kickstarter for his project “Storytellers”.
“Storytellers” is a web series based around a group of high school graduates who decide to go camping before going off to college. They begin telling stories around the campfire, but as the night wears on, the stories grow increasingly more terrifying. The stories turn fantasy into reality for the teens and they learn more about themselves in the process.
Graceffa is working on the project with fellow YouTube star Michael Gallagher (TotallySketch) and School of Thrones parody producer Whitney Milam.
To fund the project, he needs $100,000 dollars by July 10; just over $40,000 has already been raised.
His donation incentives range from a personalized “thank you” tweet ($5), your name in the credits ($10), or a signed poster ($50). The top incentive is an all expenses paid trip to Anaheim, California to spend the day with Joey and his friends at Disneyland ($8,000). The incentives are cumulative so the more you donate the more cool things you’ll be getting.
