Star of The Hunger Games Josh Hutcherson is set to both star in AND produce through JetLag Productions upcoming psychological thriller, Ape. The film, directed by Miguel Sapochnik and with a script by Jon Johnston, promises to follow a young man, presumably Hutcherson, and his ‘struggle with mental illness, love and a deep-rooted family secret’.
Discussing this impending endeavour, Hutcherson said, “We strongly believe in the global appeal of this project and we’re excited to work with Bree Herzog and team [Atomic Owl]… Ape is a passion project for us and to see it get made would truly be a dream come true”
There is no word yet on timeline for the production of Ape, but you can next see Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire this November, and in Paradise Lost next year.
