It looks like us Joss Whedon fans might finally get our wish!
No, Firefly isn’t coming back, but Joss Whedon has decided to take the Twitter plunge! He has taken to tweeting on the account @MuchAdoFilm, which is the official Twitter page for his upcoming film adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.
Whedon’s first-ever tweet reads: "Hey it’s Joss. I’m tweeting. I’m a member of the twitterati. I hath tweeth’d. It’s on."
Excited? I know I am. For those of us who consider ourselves to be Whedon fan-girls and –boys, Much Ado About Nothing has a lot to be excited about! First off, for Angel fans, the film stars Amy Acker (Winifred Bickle in Angel) and Alexis Denisof (Wesley Wyndham-Price in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel) as Beatrice and Benedick, respectively. It also features Whedon alums like Nathan Fillion, Sean Maher, and Clark Gregg. The film is due to hit theaters on
June 21of this year!
Who else already hopes he makes Twitter a more permanent thing?
