Having to put her dreams on hold shortly after being diagnosed with LYME disease, JUJ is back with a bone-chilling new track, “Pieces” and the accompanying video? Absolute art. Though this track doesn’t officially mark her return, this is definitely a track that you need in your life — especially if you suffer from anxiety and insomnia.

Having her career just started to positively take off after dropping out of high school and moving to Los Angeles, “Pieces” is a reflection of her journey with insomnia, anxiety, and having to move back home to Philadelphia after her diagnosis of LYME disease.

JUJ returned to L.A. as soon as she’d recovered from that diagnosis, pushing forward with her music and quickly setting to work on her debut EP: an instantly addictive (stunning) selection of songs announcing her as a bold new voice of empowerment for her generation and beyond. Her new single “Pieces” reflects on this journey and the official music video is out now.
