Following a less-than-successful week for the teen popstar during the London leg of his Believe Tour, Justin Bieberhas now cancelled one of his two shows in Portugal.
Bieber was scheduled to perform at Lisbon’s Pavilhao Atlantico Monday 11th March and Tuesday 12th March, however, the venue’s website has announced the cancellation of the second of these shows (12th March), “due to unforeseen circumstances”. The statement continued to say “The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11… Holders of tickets valid for March 12 should contact the respective place of purchase to receive a refund within 20 days of the date of the scheduled concert, which ends April 11”.
Portuguese newspaper Publico has suggested that ticket sales for Tuesday’s show were lower than expected, supposedly leading to the cancellation. Tickets for the Monday 11th March show were reportedly still available on the morning of the concert.
So, more troubles for the Biebs as he tours Europe! You can read our views of Justin’s antics in London here. What are your thoughts on these latest developments?
