You can say a lot about Justin Bieber, but you can’t say he isn’t a hard worker, at least not to Carly Rae Jepsen.
Bieber has had some bad publicity recently; his tour has had its problems with his pet monkey being confiscated by German officials, him been called out for being inappropriate, and is now facing a possible battery charge for spitting on a neighbor.
However, he’s got some friends by his side that are quick to defend him and point out his good qualities. “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen told E!News that her mentor was unjustly criticized.
“All I see is an incredibly hard worker and a man who’s just passionate about what he does,” Jepsen told the reporter. “[He’s] just putting it on himself to take on a lot all at once… I think if anything I’m inspired by how hard he works, and I definitely want to add that to my own mantra as just like working really hard and doing my thing.”
Touching. Jepsen isn’t the only one defending the “As Long as You Love Me” singer, will.i.am has also spoken up about Bieber’s actions and character after the Anne Frank debacle.
“He went to a museum!,” the rapper said. “If you go to Amsterdam you are going to see some crazy freaking s**t. There is a lot of s**t to do in Amsterdam but he chose to go to Anne Frank’s house. The guy is alright!”
The two collaborated on “#thatPOWER”. Guess you have to have worked one-on-one with the 18 year-old and get money out of it to really know his character.
