Kardashians: E! Renews ‘Keeping Up’ For 5 More Seasons

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ has been renewed through 2020.

Two surprise pregnancies, one surrogacy, breakup rumors, co-parenting exes, a momager gone blonde—yep, that’s probably enough for at least a few more seasons. E! agrees. The network has renewed its mainstay, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, for another five seasons, through 2020.

Exact figures aren’t known, but according to Variety, the family’s deal to extend the series fell somewhere “below $100 million.” Adam Stotsky, president of E!, would only say, “What I can tell you is, it’s a very effective, collaborative working relationship that we have with them that we’re looking forward to continuing for the foreseeable future.”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians: To Infinity and Beyond!

In 10 years, the Kardashians haven’t just become famous. They blew past that road sign years ago. Admit it: It’s pretty hard to imagine the past decade without them and their 11 spinoffs, 9-day engagements, clothing lines and perfume lines and lip kits and SOCKS,* 72-day marriages, 1 OAK club appearances, butt implant controversies, marital breakdowns, gender transitions, Pepsi commercials that end the world… Who would’ve guessed the little family from Calabasas would go on to conquer everything?

Certainly not the Kardashians themselves, as Kim explained recently at E!’s 10th anniversary special for their show: “I don’t think we even imagined that it would go on beyond one season.”

However many more seasons there end up being of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the family remains grateful for the platform they have, and increasingly open to incorporating important advocacy work for groups like Everytown for Gun Safety on the show and on their typically brand-focused social media channels. As matriarch Kris Jenner told Ellen DeGeneres last week about Keeping Up: “It really is a great foundation for all the other things we do, so it’s kind of like one helps the other, and we recognize that. We really appreciate the fact that we’ve been so blessed to be able to do this for so long. It’s really an honor.”

Season 14 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is currently airing on E!
