Just as we’re all cooling down from the latest teaser, Katy Perry has wasted no time in revealing the third of her “ROAR” videos.
After she burnt Baby Blue and laid her Teenage Dream to rest, Katy takes a hiatus from the spotlight and instead introduces a new white cat to the equation. Quietly meowing whilst entering the room, the kitten proceeds to leap upon a sofa and eat some familiar feathered jewelry of Perry’s before releasing an almighty ROAR.
This time around, we are treated to a two second clip of the new single. Full of “whoa-ohs” and a heavy drum/synth combo, this signals the new sound that the songwriter has been mentioning, a gradual but evident move away from the “carelessness” of Teenage Dream.
As August 12th moves closer, fans and critics are preparing for the premiere of “ROAR”, Perry’s first single lifted from upcoming released Prism, expected 22nd October.
