In the first of the three specials, Skins Fire will focus on Effy trying to adapt to life as adult, being responsible for herself and dealing with a tragedy that forces her to reconsider aspects of her life.

In the new trailer we see Effy with pals Emily (Kat Prescott) and Naomi (Lily Loveless) who have also returned for the two-parter. Working as a receptionist for stocks and shares, Effy has to try and deal with the demands of her seemingly arrogant boss; knowing Effy she looks like she’s playing a dangerous game. She’s no amateur but then again, she’s not used to the big wide world where everyone is out for themselves.

Naomi is concerned for Effy, but she just shuts her out. A note on anyone worrying what the special will hold for ‘Naomily’; it’s hard to tell. In the one-minute promo, Naomi and Emily are seen hugging, whilst Naomi is clutching a passport in her hand, could this be a final goodbye for the on-off couple?

Skins Fire looks a lot like old school Skins which makes me and I’m sure many others very happy! Skins Fire will air at 10pm, 1st July on E4.
