Kelly Rowland has released the music video for “Dirty Laundry”, the second single off of her recently released album Talk a Good Game.
When the song was first released back in May, it was surrounded by a lot of controversy. If you listen to the lyrics, Rowland talks about a past relationship in which she was the victim of abuse, as well as her envy of the success of former Destiny’s Child band-mate, Beyoncé Knowles.
You can hear the vulnerability in the lyrics and in her voice. The video is definitely fitting. It’s simple, raw and beautiful, showing Rowland reminiscing about her past struggles.
