The sequel to the 2010 superhero movie sees Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse reprise their roles, and an almost unrecognisable Jim Carey join the cast as Colonel Stars and Stripes. Carey recently told The Hollywood Reporter, “What I’m finding out is that you don’t have to alter yourself a hell of a lot to be completely a different person.” and added that he had prosthetics added to his jaw, forehead and nose for the role.

Director Jeff Wadlow’s Kick-Ass 2 will open in UK cinemas on 19^th July, and in the US 16^th August.
