We may love watching Jack Bauer save the world, but apparently Kiefer Sutherland does not! The actor, who plays America’s favorite crime fighter, has admitted that he’s never sat down to watch an episode of his hit series, 24.
Sutherland tells The Jonathan Ross Show that he can’t stand watching himself on screen, but says, “I know how it goes. I have read the script.” The last time he watched any of his performances was back in 1986, when he appeared in Stand By Me. He hated it and vowed, never again!
So, when the latest installment of the series, 24: Live Another Day, premieres in May, Sutherland won’t be tuning in with the rest of us. The plot will be very similar to previous seasons –each episode being an hour out of a single day in the life of Jack Bauer as he tries to conquer a terrorist threat. Except this season will take place in London, and there will only be 12 episodes instead of the usual 24.
