Having first showcased their vocal talents in church, where they stunned their parents and the congregation by singing in perfect pitch and to a perfect rhythm, it was perhaps a certainty that identical twins Kiran & Nivi would go on to share their talents with the world. They were Carnatic Music Idol finalists in 2012 and won the Carnatic premier league in the duet/duo category in 2015. Both occasions allowed them to hone their skills and their talents as they looked to take their next steps in the music world.

Their current sound blends a variety of genres; pop, R&B and Hip Hop being the key three. As talented vocalists, they also write their own songs, have built strong working relationships with top producers in LA and regularly interact with fans from around the world by sharing content across their social media platforms.

Kiran & Nivi have performed to audiences of thousands upon thousands of people in various countries around the world and are currently exploding on TikTok with an array of celebs including Andy Grammer engaging with their content. The duo’s latest single, Real Friend, is a heart-wrenching ballad, with lyrics deeply powerful and relevant to the crisis the world is currently facing due to the Corona Virus. It touches on the impact and importance of having true, strong friendships in your life, and people around you who value you as much as you value them. At a time when the bonds of friendship might find themselves being tested, or growing stronger due to the time family and friends are having to spend apart, there really isn’t a more relevant track out in the world right now.
