Kit Harington Admits He’ll Return For Game Of Thrones Season 6

Kit Harington has confirmed that he will be returning as his beloved character Jon Snow for Game of Thrones’ sixth season, but don’t celebrate just yet.

Kit Harington has confirmed that he will be returning as his beloved character Jon Snow for Game of Thrones‘ sixth season, but don’t celebrate just yet. In an interview with Time Out, the British actor admitted he filmed scenes for the fantasy series — but just as a corpse.

“I filmed some scenes of me being dead — it’s some of my best work,” Harington said, but, when pressed on what he knows about the upcoming season, he had this to say: “I don’t have a clue. I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!”

Game of Thrones shocked audiences last season with what appears to be the death of Harington’s character, Jon Snow, when he was betrayed and stabbed multiple times by members of the Night’s Watch. Since then, fans have been speculating whether Jon is truly dead or somehow survived. The truly hardcore fans have been keeping an eye on Harington’s every move to gather some clues on what may occur on Season 6.

Last September, photos of Harington in full costume were taken on the Belfast set of Game of Thrones. Sources have also told Game of Thrones, fan community site, Watchers On The Wall that Harington was spotted filming a huge battle scene which is supposed to be intended for the ninth episode of Season 6.

One popular theory among fans is that Jon Snow is truly dead, but he will be resurrected by the Red Priestess Melisandre, who fled to Castle Black just before the Night Watch’s ambush. This would explain why the cast and crew would state in interviews that Snow is truly dead.

Then again, these are all speculations, and the cast and crew will say this and that, but, at the end, fans will never truly know Jon’s fate until the show premieres and the season has run its course to answer all questions.

Until then, we all know nothing.
