It looks like April Rhodes’s Broadway gig is going to be keeping her from McKinley for a while. Kristin Chenoweth won’t be returning to Glee next season.
Ryan Murphy announced last month that the third season of Glee won’t be seeing any guest stars. Now, Chenoweth has confirmed that she won’t be back as her eccentric character, April Rhodes.
“I think he’s trying to get his show back. I think he’s trying to really concentrate on his characters. I actually understand that. I get it. People want to see those characters.”
Chenoweth’s first country album, Some Lessons Learned, comes out in September. She will also be on ABC this fall in Good Christian Belles.
