Lady Gaga Returns To Dive Bars For ‘Joanne’ World Tour

Lady Gaga is leaving the limelight and returning to the intimacy of the world’s dive bars for her upcoming “Joanne” world tour.

Lady Gaga is coming down from her Coachella-headlining buzz and returning to more intimate venues for a little while. The American Horror Story alum and singer is returning to Las Vegas in time to promote her newest album, Joanne.

“How could I not want to go back to bars and sing music from ‘Joanne‘?,” Gaga said in a press release. “I’m excited to re-team with Bud Light for the Dive Bar Tour this summer.”

The tried and true team is being joined by two other artists, hitting up dive bars across the country to “bring fans closer to the music.” The final two dates of the tour are set for Wednesday 7/26 in Los Angeles and Wednesday 8/30 in New Orleans.

“To us, dive bars are where friendships are forged over beers and music,” Andy Goeler, vice president of Bud Light, said in a release. “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with our friend Lady Gaga once again and we’re excited to bring two new musician friends on the tour with us this summer to take the tour to the next level and engage consumers everywhere.”

Fans of both Lady Gaga and Beyonce may see similarities between Gaga’s Joanne tour and Queen Bey’s Formation tour. Both tours were announced after each singer’s respective Super Bowl halftime shows.

Gaga’s Joanne tour is named after her fourth studio album. She’s looking forward to starting the world tour in Vancouver on August 1.
