As revelations regarding Gaga’s new music come thick and fast, she has taken to revealing lyrics from her yet unreleased single “Applause”. After confiding in her followers that the single would be released on August 19th, the singer has begun to reveal lyrics from the song through a series of tweets and posts on her official site, LittleMonsters.
Hopes are high for Stefani’s comeback especially with a spectrum of other artists returning with new music around the same time – Katy Perry, Beyonce and Britney are all rumoured to release albums whilst a new yearly addition from Rihanna would not come as a surprise.
Lady Gaga will perform “Applause” at the VMAs on August 25th. This single is the first to be lifted from her hotly anticipated new album, ARTPOP.
