The wait is almost over Little Monsters. We will soon be able to see the Mother Monster performing live once again as MTV announced that Lady Gaga will be performing live at next month’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Taking to their official Instagram account, MTV released a video of VJ Sway surrounded by Little Monsters broadcasting the news of the “Born This Way” singer’s involvement at the VMA’s. It was later revealed that the song she would be performing will be the first single from her much-anticipated third album, ARTPOP. The single is due for release a few days earlier on August 19.
The nominations for the 2013 VMAs were announced last week with Justin Timberlake and duo, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, leading the pack with 6 nominations each.
The 2013 VMA’s will be held on Sunday August 25 from 9pm, from the Barclays Centre, Brooklyn.
