It has been painful waiting for the fourth season of Downton Abbey, but it’s back now and fiercer than ever. We are so glad we can now catch the show every week, and are especially glad to get fun clips teasing future episodes. The newest clip from the series shows Mary Crawley catching the eye of a potential suitor played by Tom Cullen.

The first two episodes back of the hit show have captivated us, and the third episode will follow suit by keeping us guessing. DigitalSpy reports that the upcoming episode will see Lady Mary attracting longtime bachelor Lord Gillingham.

Gillingham (Cullen) might be currently engaged to the Hon Mabel Lane Fox, but the suitor starts to revaluate his choices upon reuniting with his longtime childhood friend, Mary.

It all seems a little soon, considering Matthews death is still a fresh wound. Right, there is such thing as a “time jump” in television, but the struggle is still real for us fans who refuse to believe he is gone. Let us have our feelings.
