Despite the huge global success of ‘Les Miserables: Highlights from The Motion Picture Soundtrack’, having topped both the UK album chart and US Billboard 200 at some point early this year, fans were still upset by missing songs that feature in the movie, such as ‘Do You Hear The People Sing’ and ‘A Little Fall Of Rain’.
But dry your tears ‘Les Mis’ fans (depending on what song you’re listening to) your time has come, as a deluxe edition of the soundtrack is to be available from Polydor (both physically and digitally) on 18th March, featuring 22 more tracks.
Producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh said “there was only enough time to remix a limited number of tracks so that at least a highlights album could be released for the fans before Christmas”, and that he is “very pleased” to be able to make the additional tracks available, the BBC reports.
The deluxe CD packaging is also set to display previously unseen photos from the set of the film, and extra explanatory notes.
