Yikes. Lil Wayne has apparently been hospitalized this week in L.A. for seizures, according to TMZ. TMZ reports that there were multiple seizures and that this all went down on Tuesday night.
Sources close to the rapper told TMZ that the seizures happened after shooting a music video in L.A. Lil Wayne was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital that night then released several hours later, early Wednesday morning, doing much better now.
This is not Lil Wayne’s first brush with seizures. The rapper suffered not one but two seizures on board different planes back in October. Those seizures were apparently caused by his prescribed medication, the rapper later acknowledged.
So far, Lil Wayne’s rep has to declined to comment on TMZ’s story.
