It looks like Lindsay Lohan is about to successfully complete her stay in rehab!
The actress was ordered by a court earlier this year to do a 90 day stint in rehab after being found guilty of lying to the police about a car crash that she was involved in last year. If all goes according to planned, she will be released from Cliffside Malibu treatment center on July 31.
Getting out of rehab isn’t the only thing that Lindsay will be up to, she has also booked a one way ticket to Europe with the date of return to be determined.
A friend of Lindsay’s told TMZ that she offered to take Lindsay away to Europe as a “job well done in rehab” gift and is hoping that this trip will provide Lindsay with some much needed post-rehab privacy.
Though the return date is yet to be established for Lindsay, she’ll have to make some room in her relaxation for her deal she already has lined up with Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network.
Lohan has agreed to film an eight part documentary series about her life as she tried to remain sober for the network. The reality series will be directed by Amy Rice who also directed the 2009 documentary, By the People: The Election of Barack Obama. The documentary is set to air in 2014.
We’re glad that Lindsay will be leaving rehab successfully and wish her a lovely and peaceful trip to Europe!
