This summer is proving to be a scorcher and although we enjoy a little squirt-gun fight to cool down; we
love
the new single just released from Kings of Leon entitled “Supersoaker.”
The single gives us a look at what is to come from their upcoming album, Mechanical Bull, which is due to drop this September, and it appears the boys are pulling out all the stops. “Unlike their former kindred spirits the Strokes, which have struggled and mostly failed to remain relevant, Kings of Leon seem as single-minded as Motörhead,’” says the LA Times.
With struggling sales from the rock genre so far this year, will Mechanical Bull and tracks like “Supersoaker” be able to turn the tides and produce some hits?
