Little Miss Sunshine is all grown up and on the trail for the Oscars once again.17 year old actress, Abigail Breslin has a clause written into her contract for her work on August: Osage County, a family drama with a star studded cast. The clause states that on top of her salary of $75k, the actress will earn an additional $50k for both an Oscar and Golden Globe win, which would be an additional $100k in award bonuses! She was nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role as Olive Hoover in Little Miss Sunshine back in 2006.
August: Osage County has a couple of other leading ladies who will likely be giving Abigail a run for her money; literally! Julia Roberts who has received 7 Golden Globe nominations with 3 wins and 3 Oscar nominations with 1 win for Erin Brockovich back in 2000, and also acting powerhouse Meryl Streep who has received 27 Golden Globe nominations with 8 wins and an unprecedented 17 Oscar nominations with 3 wins. Meryl took home the golden statue last year for her turn as Margaret Thatcher.
The film also co-stars Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Juliette Lewis and Margo Martindale.
