‘Little Women: Couples Retreat’ Kick-Starts Revenge

As usual, the ‘Little Women’ franchise never disappoints. More fights and more booze? Uh, yes please!

Another day in paradise? More like another day in married life.

As you already know, several couples cherry-picked from different spin-off shows came to not just enjoy Puerto Rico’s sand and surf, but to work on their relationships. From Little Women: LA’s Tonya and Kerwin to Little Women: Atlanta’s Andrea and Chris, the devoted beaus made an effort to make new friendships and fall even deeper in love. Only one couple stood out among the rest (no, not Lila and Brian). Briana and Matt separated themselves from the group and stirred trouble, which saturated the third episode.

To start their morning, instead of enjoying a peaceful breakfast with the rest of the crew, the pair alienated themselves from the pack. Briana ate, and Matt drank…and hate. He just bad-mouthed his own wife, putting her down as she tried to calm him. “Don’t apologize. I’m over it. I’m out. When you’re ready, you come home and I’ll leave,” he yells. Even though Briana acted unbothered, other cast mates, like Jordan, voiced their concerns.

Briana’s worst fear came true – everybody hurled opinions about her union.

They all wanted her to realize how horribly Matt treated her, yet she waved them away. When she and Matt left breakfast (and his Bloody Mary), all Matt focused on was his discord with the group, as well as his drunken desire to touch his wife’s boobs. While the rest of the cast enjoyed a relaxing day snorkeling and boating, Matt huffed and puffed about the morning argument. Briana coaxed him through his anger, until he enacted his revenge at a bonfire hours later. He really wanted to release his anger, but so did another member – Chris. They basically touched noses, challenging each other to make the first swing.

At least nobody’s sitting in a chair this time!
