Is your sonic properly secured? Let’s hope the Doctor thought to add a “feels” setting. Classic episodes previously thought lost forever were recovered last year, and now they will be aired as part of a Classic Who marathon!

But until the full Missing Episodes Marathon can air, be sure to tune in Saturday, February 22! Two Patrick Troughton stories, “The Enemy of the World” and “The Web of Fear,” will be shown back-to-back in anticipation for the big event!

The entire Marathon will be presented at Prince Charles Cinema in London. After the show, you can enjoy a panel with cast members, as well as celebrate “The Web of Fear” being released on DVD!

While 11 episodes were recovered from an overseas location, only nine of these were found in the BBC official archives. Even so, this was more than we thought we would get! You can address your letters of gratitude and adoration to Phillip Morris, Television International Enterprises Archive. This dedicated man tracked the episodes down via the BBCs overseas shipments. Lucky for us the tapes were intended for transmission!

Tickets go on sale for the Marathon tomorrow at 9AM on the Prince Charles Cinema website. Until then, check out the iTunes trailer for “Web of Fear”!
