Mannheim Steamroller Going On 2017 Christmas Tour

Mannheim Steamroller is back on the rails for a 2017 Christmas Tour beginning this November! Check out the tour dates here!

‘Tis the season to be jolly… oh. Still too early? Well, we’re getting closer, and to help us celebrate, the electronic new age Mannheim Steamroller will be going on its annual Christmas tour this year starting in November!

Mannheim Steamroller has some Christmas classics

If you haven’t heard of Mannheim Steamroller, it’s time we got you on “track.” Led by Chip Davis and originating in Omaha, Nebraska, Mannheim Steamroller began with its release of eight Fresh Aire albums, blending rock, synthesizers, and classical themes. It wasn’t long until they released their first Christmas album in 1984, which really took off and made the band even more recognized than they already were. If you haven’t heard of the group, you undoubtedly have heard one of their songs playing on the radio or in the mall during the holiday season. They are tamer sounding than your Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but still just as upbeat, energetic, and catchy for this time of year. Their music is timeless and will never go out of style, and every live concert is a unique spectacle of an experience of lights, music, and sound.

Here are some must-hear recordings to get you in the mood!

“God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”
