Mark Salling’s current legal troubles have come back into the spotlight as the actor filed a countersuit over the sexual assault claims.
Incase you forgot about this case, here’s the refresher for you. In January, Salling’s former girlfriend, Playboy model Roxanne Gorzela, filed a lawsuit of sexual assault against the actor claiming that in March 2011 he forced himself on her without a condom. She also said that when she asked if Salling had a STD’s he pushed her to the ground.
Salling has now filed a countersuit to those claims saying that Gorzela came into his home without his permission. He continues to say that while she was in his home, she attacked him by punching him in his arms, chest and face. Then the model went outside and keyed his car causing “substantial” damage.
Salling is suing Gorzela for trespassing, assault and battery, demanding unspecified damages.
When asked in January about this lawsuit Salling said: “You hear about fraudulent lawsuits all the time, [but] ‘til it happens to you, you really don’t grasp what it does not to just you but your family. You want the legal process to happen as fast as possible but it takes time.”
