Marvel Entertainment and Disney are planning on something weird happening this weekend.
Marvel released the above teaser image for this week’s D23 Expo. D23 opens Friday August 9th and runs through the 11th.
So what happens when people “ask for something weird?” Well I don’t know.
Apparently, this question will result in a, “first look at an upcoming project coming from Marvel & Disney!”
The phrasing is odd. Usually Marvel, according to The Hollywood Reporter, tends to keep off any mention of its parent company. This suggests that whatever Weird thing is coming will be a co-production between the two.
There are several theories from a Disney-Marvel comic to an announcement of a Doctor Strange movie.
